CalcBook Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how CalcBook handles information for CalcBook Smart Scientific Calculator. CalcBook is an offline-first calculator and study utility app built for students.
Offline-first app design
CalcBook is designed to work offline first. Calculator tools, local notes, saved calculations, and hidden vault data should remain private on the user's device unless CalcBook explicitly adds an optional cloud backup or sync feature later.
Information and app services
CalcBook may use Firebase services for analytics, crash reporting, authentication, and future cloud features. These services help improve reliability, understand app performance, and support optional account-based features.
Advertising
CalcBook may use Google AdMob to show top banner ads. AdMob may process device, usage, and advertising-related signals according to Google's advertising and privacy policies.
Study PDFs and third-party sources
Study PDFs may be opened from third-party or public sources. Those files and websites may have their own privacy practices, content policies, and availability rules. Users should review third-party sources before relying on or sharing information with them.
Hidden vault and local data
Hidden vault content is intended to stay private and local to the user's device. If CalcBook later adds cloud backup, sync, or account recovery for vault data, the app should clearly explain that behavior before enabling it.
Deletion and privacy requests
Users can contact CalcBook support for deletion, account, or privacy requests. Send requests to support@calcbook.app. Include enough detail for the support team to identify the relevant app account or issue.
Changes to this policy
CalcBook may update this Privacy Policy as the app adds new calculator tools, study utilities, cloud features, or global support. The updated page will show the latest revision date.
